CXT Software, a software provider for logistics industry, has announced that Nextstop Mobile – an app for enabling efficient logistics operations – is now available for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in the Apple App Store.
When we set out to build our next generation mobile app, the need to include support for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad devices was obvious. I’m excited to announce that we are able to deliver that today,” according to Tom Herman, Product Manager at CXT Software. “With the availability of Nextstop Mobile in both the Apple App Store and Google Play marketplaces, we now support 92 percent of all smartphones in the U.S. This makes it even easier for a CXT Software customer to utilize the bring-your-own-device model with employees and independent contractors.”
“Our software technology continues to advance at a rapid rate. We must also ensure that it runs on the latest mobile platforms, while offering a consistent experience across all devices,” adds Tim Cocchia, CXT Software’s Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “With Nextstop Mobile for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, we move the ball much closer to that goal, significantly broadening the reach of our next generation mobile app. ”
CXT Software’s Nextstop Mobile application provides dock-to-destination tracking for expedited delivery and logistics companies, built on a platform providing broad support for current smartphone and mobile computing platforms. Nextstop Mobile is designed to work with both the company’s current X Dispatch suite as well as its next-generation Nextstop suite when it becomes available. Nextstop Mobile is available on Android devices in Google Play, and is coming soon on iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad in the Apple App Store.
